Run technical discovery workshops with manufacturing customers independently — floor walks, process mapping, inspection point identification, constraint documentation
Translate floor observations into structured ROI analyses and architecture recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Scope and own the integration project from kickoff through production go-live and long-term support handoff
Write runbooks, train customer teams, define monitoring thresholds and retraining triggers as part of every handoff
Design and implement integrations between Maneva's edge AI platform and customer IT/OT infrastructure — APIs, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data pipelines
Architect solutions that bridge the OT/IT boundary: edge compute, industrial networking, cloud connectivity, and data flow from line to enterprise systems
Build and deploy full-stack web applications as part of customer deployments — operational dashboards, monitoring interfaces, configuration tooling — using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, or equivalent); own front-end and back-end
Own the full software stack at the customer site — inference pipeline, data ingestion, integration layer, web interface, monitoring
Build customer-specific integration code in Python that is production-grade, documented, and maintainable without you in the room
Deploy Maneva's computer vision models on edge hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, industrial PCs) at customer sites
Participate in camera and lighting specification; work with the solutions team on optical integration decisions
Commission and validate vision systems on the factory floor under real production conditions
Monitor deployed systems, define drift thresholds, and manage retraining cycles
Hold productive technical conversations with customer automation teams on PLC architecture, OPC-UA tag structures, and industrial network constraints — without needing an OT specialist in the room
Bridge the IT/OT gap for the customer: help their automation team understand what Maneva needs from the OT layer, and help their IT team understand what the floor environment requires
You do not need to write ladder logic. You do need to understand why the PLC scan cycle matters and what questions to ask
Requirements
4+ years of production software engineering experience — you have shipped systems to customer or production infrastructure, not just internal tools
Full-stack web development fluency — you have built and deployed production web applications end-to-end
Demonstrated customer-facing engineering experience: you have owned a technical engagement with an external customer, not just delivered a pre-scoped task
Fluency in production software practices: Linux, Docker, Git, CI/CD in real deployments; you own your stack through go-live
Enterprise systems integration experience: you have integrated software systems across organizational boundaries — APIs, cloud platforms, ERP, or data pipelines — in a production context
Enough manufacturing or industrial environment exposure to hold a credible floor conversation
Eligible to work in the United States
Comfort with 50%+ regional travel to manufacturing customer sites in the US South and South-Central
