Act as a senior technical anchor across the India-based engineering setup for medias
Help align the work of frontend, backend/integration, platform/DevOps, QA, and support-related engineering roles
Support the build-up and stabilization of the internal India team during transition from external implementation support to long-term internal ownership
Translate architecture direction and delivery priorities into practical technical coordination within the team
Support onboarding of new engineers by helping establish ways of working, technical standards, documentation expectations, and collaboration routines
Promote engineering quality, technical discipline, and consistent implementation practices across the team
Identify technical delivery risks, dependency conflicts, capacity bottlenecks, and areas where stronger coordination is needed
Support sprint preparation and technical refinement by helping break down work into clear, implementable technical tasks
Work closely with the IT Product Owner in Germany, Solution Architects / Operations counterparts in Poland, and external implementation partners
Help ensure stable handover of knowledge, responsibilities, and technical ownership into the internal India setup
Support incident resolution and technical escalations by helping connect the right experts and ensuring issues are driven through to resolution
Contribute to technical documentation, onboarding materials, team setup standards, and operational readiness
Requirements
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field
20 years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or solution implementation in complex digital or enterprise environments
Strong technical background in one or more relevant domains such as frontend, backend/integration, platform/DevOps, or enterprise application delivery
Proven ability to bring structure and stability into growing or changing engineering setups
Experience supporting onboarding, team ramp-up, and knowledge transfer in distributed teams
Strong understanding of software delivery, technical dependencies, quality practices, and operational readiness
Ability to guide engineers through technical judgment, structured collaboration, and hands-on credibility
Strong communication skills and confidence working with engineers, architects, product owners, managers, and external partners
Experience in agile delivery models (Scrum, Kanban) and global team collaboration is a plus
Strong intercultural skills and experience in working with European companies
Experience in eCommerce, SAP Commerce Cloud, composable architectures, or enterprise integration landscapes is an advantage
Experience in distributed delivery models involving internal teams and implementation partners
Exposure to release readiness, production support, and operational handover topics
Experience in mentoring engineers or coordinating cross-functional technical delivery without formal line management
Understanding of IT service management and ITIL-based support processes.
