Develop new sales leads and grow business, independently and with Distributor
Manage customer business relationships in the sales region which includes but not limited to Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Iqualiut
Work closely with DuBois Technical Service Representatives and customer operations personnel to solve customer problems, install and repair application systems and support chemical applications with customers
Report to the Mining Sector Business Director
Requirements
Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Engineering Technology is preferred
10+ years’ experience in heavy industry or manufacturing
Valid driver’s license required
Knowledge of chemical application systems is required
Ability to manage complex, large customer accounts independently, as well as distributor relationships
Hands-on ability to repair, install and troubleshoot application systems is required
Previous sales training is required
Strong communication skills – ability to clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)
Programming logic for application systems is a strong benefit
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel as needed
Ability to work outdoors year-round at customer sites
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and industry personnel.
