Lead the finance function in providing strategic financial leadership, strong governance, and disciplined execution across the entity
Oversee financial close, accounting, balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting, and management reporting with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and performance reporting to support management decision-making and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, company law, and regulatory requirements in India, while maintaining alignment with global finance, governance, and control standards
Build and maintain a robust internal control framework across finance activities, including reconciliations, approvals, segregation of duties, issue remediation, and evidence retention
Partner with tax and treasury stakeholders on direct and indirect tax compliance, transfer pricing support, cash management, banking set-up, and repatriation considerations, as relevant
Act as a trusted advisor to the TDGS leadership team and global stakeholders on financial implications of strategic decisions, operating model choices, investments, and capacity expansion
Work closely with risk, compliance, legal, and audit teams to ensure the TDGS finance function meets internal policy requirements and external regulatory expectations
Recruit, lead, and develop a high-calibre finance team in India, creating clear roles, strong accountability, and a culture of ownership, control, and continuous improvement
Drive standardization, process efficiency, and appropriate automation across finance processes to improve scalability, control, and management insight
Manage relationships with external auditors, advisors, regulators, banking partners, and internal governance forums as required
Support legal entity set-up, governance implementation, policy localization, and transition to business-as-usual operations for TDGS including transfer to BOT setup to TDGS
Requirements
Qualified finance professional (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) with significant progressive leadership experience in finance, controllership, FP&A, or entity finance roles (10+ years)
Strong experience in financial services, banking, shared services, captive centres, or Global Capability Centre environments preferred
Deep understanding of finance governance, internal controls, financial reporting, budgeting, and performance management
Strong knowledge of India statutory requirements, corporate governance expectations, audit readiness, and financial compliance obligations
Experience building or scaling finance teams and operating models in a complex, matrixed, multinational environment
Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence decisions across business, operations, and control functions
Strong communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across global and local teams
Track record of driving process improvement, disciplined execution, and sustainable control outcomes
