Building strong relationships within the different regional People Teams.
Collaborate and work with the European-level employee representative committee, the EO People Team, Suwon Office, European Employee Relations Office (EEO), Shared Service Centre, and regional People Teams while coordinating with your line manager.
Support investigations of regional-level ER matters by conducting interviews, creating reports, and educating People Team colleagues across Europe on ER and HR processes.
Effectively communicate with employee representatives and People Team members and take the initiative to form regional-level HR policies based on specific needs.
Propose solutions to ER cases and develop wider HR policies.
Manage day-to-day casework across Europe where the European People Team is involved and report cases to EOPT leadership.
Collaborate with EOPT and subsidiary People Teams in proposing and developing new ER processes while ensuring continuous process improvement.
Work with local People Teams to implement necessary policy changes.
Track regional ER data and build/manage a regional ER dashboard.
Identify regional and global ER trends to propose recommendations and implement improvements.
Ensure all regional HR policies and ER documents, contracts, and agreements are up-to-date by periodically reviewing them in collaboration with the COEs in accordance with any relevant legal changes or business requirements.
Actively lead assigned regional HR projects with an ER focus.
Manage regional grievance and disciplinary policies and provide support during the process when EOPT is involved.
Requirements
A passion for Employee Relations and for understanding various European HR policies and the differences among diverse countries is essential.
You should have the confidence to liaise with and provide expert advice on ER and regional-level HR policy matters and employment practices to local People Team members throughout Europe.
While you do not need to be a specialist in the labour laws of all target countries, it is crucial to possess expertise in employment law and ER practices of at least one of our target countries in Europe.
A solid understanding of the wider HR and COE model, along with the importance of cross-team collaboration, is necessary.
You must work efficiently to ensure a positive impact within the organisation.
You will be confident and proven in having coached and managed complex ER cases on multiple occasions: Performance Management (Informal and Formal), Absence Management, Redundancy Process, Grievance Process, Disciplinary Process, Mediation and Conflict Management, Mitigation of future ER Cases.
