Focuses on end-to-end ETL design and implementation, ensuring high-quality, reconciled, and well-governed data pipelines across cloud-based data platforms
Design, develop, and enhance complex ETL workflows to acquire, transform, and load data from diverse source systems into enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake
Use enterprise ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Ab Initio, Matillion, DataStage) to build scalable and reusable data pipelines
Implement robust data reconciliation, validation, and error-handling processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintain strong data lineage and traceability across all ETL processes
Design and implement unified data models, including star schemas and dimensional models, to support reporting and analytics
Optimize data structures and ETL logic to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in cloud data environments
Partner with reporting and analytics teams to ensure ETL outputs align with downstream consumption needs
Develop and operate ETL solutions within cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
Leverage cloud-native storage and compute capabilities while ensuring performance and reliability
Use Control-M to schedule, orchestrate, and monitor ETL jobs and dependencies
Apply data governance, security, and access control standards within ETL design and execution
Maintain metadata, documentation, and operational run books for all ETL assets
Support audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements through repeatable and well-documented data pipelines
Ensure audit trails and reconciliation controls are embedded within ETL processes
Translate business and reporting requirements into detailed ETL technical designs
Work closely with data designers, MI/reporting teams, and platform engineers
