Serve as the deep technical expert for Cybersecurity principles spanning network, application, system, cloud, and end point use cases
Guide teams through technical issues and challenges
Collaborate with architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and peers providing technical expertise
Create, review, and approve technical documentation for applications supported
Analyze, plan, justify, schedule, and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the specialty area’s administrative, operational, and financial initiatives
Lead the development of technology strategy and roadmap within a given area of specialty
Work with 3rd party vendors to negotiate contracts and develop reporting metrics
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, preferably in a healthcare environment
In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, including NGFW, IPS, VPNs, Proxies, SASE, WAF, DoS protections, NAC, Radius, SDWAN, and WLAN security
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security, or equivalent
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
