About this role
Role Overview
Prioritize safety in all tasks, following company and client safety protocols.
Champion EnerStar’s core values (integrity, collaboration, innovation) in everything you do.
Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks.
Install and repair flooring as needed to maintain facilities.
Handle basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
Complete painting projects to keep equipment and facilities in top shape.
Communicate regularly with the Lead Service Tech and Field Service Supervisor.
Interface with clients on-site to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
Obtain client sign-off on all service tickets before leaving each job site.
Maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality on every job.
Promote quality assurance and a positive company image to clients.
Assist with other relevant tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Willingness and ability to properly wear all required PPE (personal protective equipment)
Basic carpentry or general “handyman” skills (desired but not required)
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Active listening skills and a professional, courteous communication style
Stamina to work in extreme weather conditions and challenging environments
Availability for on-call duty; able to work nights and weekends when needed
Willingness to travel out of town as required
Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and electronic tools for work (e.g., digital work orders, metering devices)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Physical strength to lift 50–75 lbs on a regular basis
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
A clean driving record (valid license)
A strong commitment to safety at all times
Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with industry software/tools like FieldCap, KPA, or Bamboo is a plus (not required)
