As lead auditor, playing a key role within the Group’s internal audit function as the ‘third line of defence’, ensuring a robust control environment by conducting risk-based audits across the front, middle and back offices
Advising managers on risk mitigation
Responsible for identifying risks in front-office, middle-office, and back-office processes as part of global audits frequently focusing on internal controls, credit management, and compliance
Providing advice from an audit perspective on process efficiency, effectiveness and risk minimisation when establishing departments or branches
Ongoing assessment of risks relating to the bank’s reputation and its protection, whilst complying with applicable regulations
Responsible for the further development of audit methodology in line with audit requirements
Monitoring the quality of audit methodology
Preparing audit reports summarising key audit findings and working closely with the Head of Internal Audit
Ad hoc projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration or Economics
Professional certification as a CPA or CIA
Experience in auditing, risk management, or corporate governance at an internationally active bank
Specific expertise in private banking required
Experience leading audit project teams and employees based outside Switzerland
Experience with data analytics to determine audit scope
Strong analytical skills to ensure transparency regarding business process risks through appropriate controls
Strong project management and negotiation skills
Ability to remain impartial and strictly rule-oriented in a demanding environment
Sound ethical judgment regarding personal conduct and behavior as well as business practices
Communication skills at all levels of internal and external audit
Presentation skills before management and senior management
