Drive strong engagement through effective 1:1s, performance management, and team development planning
Own the successful delivery of end-to-end data pipelines and platform capabilities across batch and streaming architectures
Ensure high standards for data quality, scalability, reliability, and observability
Partner with Product, Analytics, and Business teams to ensure delivery aligns with business needs
Provide architectural guidance and technical direction across the data domain
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and design principles
Champion coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD adoption to ensure high-quality, production-grade systems
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders within the data domain
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience
6+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in data platforms and systems
6+ years of people leadership experience managing engineering teams
Strong background in: Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures
Data engineering and pipeline development (batch and streaming)
Programming (Python, SQL, PySpark) and data modeling
Cloud data platforms and distributed systems
Experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in Agile environments
