Role Overview
- Produce mechanical installation drawings for various equipment and customers
- Research / review customer specifications to ensure compliance
- Research / review available as-built drawings
- Research / review available architectural drawings
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a cohesive system design
- Prepare prints when required
- Make drawing corrections / revisions as needed to meet the project requirements
- Report drawing status to the Project Engineer as required maintaining the project schedule
- Prepare drawings for submittal to the customer
- Improve professional and technical knowledge by attending training as required by MHS management
- Prepare as-built drawing as needed to meet the project requirements
- Prepare general arrangement drawing as needed to meet the project requirements
- Contribute by accomplishing various miscellaneous tasks as required
Requirements
- Associates Degree or higher in Computer Drafting and Design or similar technical program
- Equivalent work experience will also be considered as a substitute for education
- Zero to 3 years’ experience in mechanical conveyor / installation design
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Reports to work on-time and in compliance with company attendance policy
