Monitor and manage contractor programmes in line with overall project delivery timelines
Oversee the construction and commissioning of overhead line projects
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations, and environmental standards
Drive quality and environmental performance, ensuring mitigation measures are implemented and monitored
Support the delivery of works across distribution and transmission networks
Requirements
Experience working on overhead line or transmission projects, ideally within utilities or infrastructure
Exposure to projects across distribution and/or transmission networks (11kV – 400kV)
Experience on higher voltage works (132kV, 275kV or 400kV) would be advantageous, but not essential
A good understanding of overhead line construction, maintenance or commissioning activities (e.g. foundations, pole/tower erection, stringing or reconductoring)
Experience working within a DNO, utilities, or infrastructure environment
Knowledge of CDM regulations, site safety and temporary works
Experience reviewing, approving or working with RAMS and permit systems
Qualifications / certifications (or working towards): SMSTS CSCS Card First Aid
We’re also keen to hear from Experienced transmission & distribution linesmen/women looking to transition into site management.
Candidates with strong practical overhead line experience and a solid understanding of industry delivery.
