About this role
Role Overview
- Own AI research and end-to-end features
- Lead applied AI research and turn it into features shipped across our products
- Build evaluation harnesses (golden sets, regression tests) so AI features don't silently degrade
- Build the AI behind our usage analytics and the AI-driven strategic recommendations we provide to customers
Requirements
- 6+ years of ML/AI engineering experience, with a track record of delivering models and AI features in production
- Strong expertise in LLM fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, and evaluation (golden sets, LLM-as-judge, regression testing)
- Experience optimizing AI systems for cost, latency, and quality in production
- Strong software engineering fundamentals — you deliver and operate, not just prototype
- Comfortable with Python and able to work on a TypeScript production codebase
- Experience with small language models (SLMs) and deploying models to devices/on-prem is a strong plus
