Role Overview
- Partner with the NCE offshore sales department to negotiate offshore wind transactions
- Review and analyse tender documents and identify legal/contractual risks
- Draft, review and negotiate turbine sales contracts
- Manage the support of external law firms
- Support the contract management and project management teams
- Find ways to optimize business processes
Requirements
- Master of Laws or equivalent
- Qualified lawyer in Scotland or England
- At least 5 years of experience as a transactional lawyer
- Previous experience from the renewables sector
- Experience negotiating FIDIC contracts
- Knowledge of handling complex infrastructure contracts
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Additional legal qualification from another EU jurisdiction would be a benefit
