Work with new product developments, cost reductions and quality improvements from the initial brief through design and development to testing and implementation.
Develop and optimize components, subgroups and modules according to global strategies and regional needs as well as Architecture and/or Module management & governance.
Create and validate mechanical components/modules/systems taking care of its design and development (technical specification, functionality, reliability, manufacturability, safety, quality, cost).
Drive the execution of mechanical development project/activities.
Support test manual definition for components/modules.
Collaborate with Laboratories on development/verification test result’s analysis and finding technical solutions.
Monitor and commission changes to plant and systems (PLM, ...) and support part/product approval.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education background is a must
Good understanding of engineering, manufacturing and assembly principals
Good knowledge of quality tools (DFMEA, PFMEA, Tolerance analysis tools)
Awareness of ISO 9001 Quality Management
Awareness of ISO 14001 Environmental Management
Experience with 3D modelling tools (CATIA V5 or NX preferable) is a plus
