Direct management and development of a team of accountants.
Review IPA/RKK related journal entries: capitation, claims, risk pools, AR/AP, and accrual related entries.
Review, maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a monthly basis; prepare monthly balance sheet analyses for multiple assigned entities.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close.
Work closely with the reporting team to provide accurate and timely information for SEC filing and to the external auditors
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with U.S. GAAP
Manage internal and external ad-hoc requests
Work with external auditors to provide support as requested
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Solid understanding of GAAP, as well as industry-specific accounting practices related to healthcare.
Proficiency with accounting software, preferably Sage and advanced MS Office Suite skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $130,000
$145,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
