About this role
Role Overview
- Review, draft, and negotiate terms with third-party suppliers for a wide variety of services
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders including Legal, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Finance, and Business Operations to ensure contract terms meet applicable standards
- Use contracts management software to generate and document all third-party supplier contracts
- Work with finance and associated business unit to budget and track new spend and ongoing renewals
- Assist internal stakeholders with vendor research as needed to support company initiatives
- Coordinate and participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and third-party supplier representatives during contract negotiations
- Support UMB end users with comprehension of contract terms related to moderately complex agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience in contracts/legal, risk, procurement, financial services or other relevant experience OR Advanced degree and 2 years related experience in contracts/legal, procurement, financial services, or other relevant experience
- Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or hold other relevant industry certifications (preferred)
- Experienced with negotiating software license agreements, cloud computing agreements, or other technology related contracts
