Role Overview
- Lead the development of technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, implementation instructions, test procedures, and test reports.
- Lead small teams to complete tasks on-time and on-budget.
- Communicate effectively with team members and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to work under general supervision to set objectives.
- Assist in engineering system development tasks including system requirements analysis, system architecture and design, preliminary design, critical design, system integration, formal verification, formal validation, and fielding support.
- Lead in the performance of requirements analysis using DOORS, UML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML), and other system engineering practices.
- Contribute to the completion of milestones and subsequent gate reviews.
- Assist in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for total systems.
- Maintain standards compliance.
- Travel up to 10% for off-site testing.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline (Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics)
- minimum 4 years of prior related experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Experience with all aspects of SEIT and product development best practices and their applications given program needs
- Experience in integrated product teams
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills
- Familiarity with the military/defense contracting environment
- Proficiency in DOORS
- AGILE development experience
- Integration and Test experience utilizing oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems
- IGBT, MOSFET, or power conversion experience
- Experience with power supplies greater than 10,000 W
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
