Role Overview
- Provide synchronous video appointments and asynchronous consultations to patients with cardiometabolic conditions
- Provide clinical advice and supervision to other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Conduct medical assessments appropriate to the encounter
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters
- Supervise and provide clinical decision support to multidisciplinary Care Team members
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Obesity Medicine, or a related specialty
- Valid, unrestricted medical licenses in Georgia
- Experience treating cardiometabolic conditions, including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity
- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver care virtually
- Prior telemedicine experience strongly preferred.
