About this role
Role Overview
Conduct drone inspections of wind turbine blades and other infrastructure in accordance with safety protocols and SOPs.
Complete image and data capture missions with a high degree of precision and minimal defects.
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot remote-controlled equipment in varied field conditions.
Meet data capture performance expectations to include rate of capture completion, data management, quality of imagery, safety performance metrics, and project communication.
Conduct training of new Data Capture Specialists or Contractors based on employee’s proficiency.
Maintain high safety standards during all operations in alignment with industry best practices, company policy, and regulatory requirements.
Comply with and maintain applicable product specific certifications and qualifications such as: EASA A1/A3, STS (Standard Scenario), GWO.
Requirements
Experience with wind turbine inspections and complex data capture techniques
EASA A1/A3 Global Wind Organization training certifications or willing to complete courses
STS (Standard Scenario) is ideal but not required
Includes 75%-100% domestic travel in support of operations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while also meeting rigid deadlines.
The ability to adapt to different working environments is essential.
Experience with implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and individuals and come to a consensus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to lift 50 lbs easily.
Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Be willing to work at heights.
Able to work in outside environments year-round.
