Controlling and analyzing the financial performance of national and international solar tracker projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
Preparing and continuously improving project and management reports, KPI dashboards and regular actual vs. planned comparisons for management and project teams
Identifying and assessing variances, risks and opportunities and deriving concrete actions together with the specialist departments
Supporting budget and forecast processes in close coordination with project management, supply chain, procurement and sales
Preparing and evaluating business cases, profitability analyses and financial models for projects, proposals and new business opportunities
Taking on occasional corporate-controlling tasks (e.g., participation in monthly and quarterly closings, cross-functional analyses) — in our team we contribute beyond our core topic in controlling
Further developing controlling and reporting processes and helping shape efficient steering instruments in the project environment
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable commercial qualification; further training in controlling preferred (e.g., IHK Controller)
Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a project or FP&A environment within project-driven industrial or technology companies
Practical experience in the financial management of projects: budget planning, forecasting, actual vs. planned and variance analyses; experience in corporate controlling (e.g., financial closings) is an advantage
Confident use of ERP, BI and controlling tools to independently prepare KPIs, perform analyses and produce reports
Strong skills in analyzing financial metrics and trends, with the ability to separate data foundations from interpretation and to derive actionable measures
Experience in cross-functional coordination with internal project teams
Excellent German and English skills, spoken and written, for collaboration in international project and finance teams
Structured, prioritizing and results-oriented working style with the ability to reliably manage multiple topics in parallel
Decisiveness within your remit as well as high reliability and integrity in handling sensitive financial and project data
