RN, Breast Medical Oncology Clinic

Role Overview

• Deliver compassionate, multidisciplinary, coordinated care for all breast patients through comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care
• Work in partnership with breast cancer patients and families through prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship
• Provide patient education and coordinate care for patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or other breast conditions
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes genetic counselors, breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologist, radiologist, radiation oncologist and advanced practice providers
• Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage

Requirements

• Graduate of school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
• Ambulatory experience Preferred
• Relevant oncology experience Preferred
• Chemotherapy experience Preferred
• Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred
• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
• Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
