About this role
Role Overview
Provide specialized nutrition care for patients with digestive health conditions including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), functional gastrointestinal disorders, celiac disease, and patients requiring enteral or parenteral nutrition support.
Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments, including detailed diet histories, malnutrition evaluations, and nutrition-focused physical exams, to identify individualized patient needs and opportunities for intervention.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary digestive health team to support coordinated, high-quality patient care across outpatient and specialty care settings.
Join a collaborative team of digestive health dietitians while also being part of a larger outpatient nutrition team that fosters connection, mentorship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional growth and learning.
Requirements
Minimum
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field
Preferred
Master’s Degree in Nutrition or related field
Minimum
One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience
Preferred
Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience
Minimum – Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Certification/Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin
Illinois Licensed Dietetic Nutritionist credential for interstate practice as required by the State of Illinois for RDNs in the ambulatory setting within 3 months of employment
Preferred – Certified specialist as required for the position or ability to complete within the first two years of employment
Maintain CPR certification
