About this role

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations as part of a cross-functional team
Work across a modern, broad technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, MongoDB, MySQL
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and Product Owners throughout the full development lifecycle
Contribute to gradual modernization of an established, large-scale codebase through safe, well-scoped changes
Participate in code reviews and help uphold engineering standards within the team

3–5 years of professional Java development experience
Solid understanding of Spring Boot and RESTful service design
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases; exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus
Comfortable working in an Agile team environment with daily collaboration across functions
Eager to learn, communicative, sharing knowledge, and grow as an engineer
Strong written and spoken English
