Machine and Process Optimization Specialist

Role Overview

• Work directly on the shop floor to optimize bottlenecks, production cycle times, and overall plant performance.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to eliminate recurring failures.
• Participate in the development of new products by supporting project development during engineering phases (conceptual, basic, and detailed), ensuring appropriate definition of process parameters and design criteria.
• Align requirements with internal stakeholders involved in projects, promoting integration and process flow.
• Provide technical support to operational areas to achieve strategic objectives.
• Develop new fixtures and tooling for machining centers and/or dies for presses.
• Stay informed about new production equipment and technologies to assess their suitability for the company's industrial processes.
• Attend trade fairs and exhibitions, visit suppliers, and collect technical and financial information to support procurement decisions.
• Prepare recommendations and forward them to supervisors for decision-making.
• Participate annually in production planning (Operational Plan), providing the responsible area with information about processes, equipment, and technologies to support the definition of new production targets, cost reduction, productivity increases, and scrap reduction, based on data collected throughout the period.
• Provide technical support for critical analysis of investment trends, budget impacts, and variances, proposing innovative solutions and guiding the team in implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

• Technical or higher education degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechanical Production, or related fields.
• Experience in developing CNC programs and devices/fixtures.
• Experience in machine operation.
• Experience in the development of stamping tools/tooling.
• Knowledge of industrial production processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
• Knowledge of CAM programming is desirable.
• Must reside in Itu, SP or neighboring cities (or be willing to relocate).
