Execute and manage low to moderately complex IOTs and POs for materials, software, and services in support of domestic and international commercial, DoD, FAA, and FMS contracts
Ensure strict compliance with Government (FAR, DFAR, AMS), Customer and company requirements from R&D through low-rate initial production, production/deployment, sustainment, and program closeout
Collaborate cross-functionally across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) including Quality, Finance, Contracts, Global Trade and Legal
Identify potential suppliers, research products, and execute RFQs/RFPs (Requests for Quotes/Proposals)
Evaluate supplier performance, focusing on quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency
Execute bid/proposal activities and PIAs/NDAs for new business
Utilize source selection techniques including best value source selection (BVSS), competition, and single/sole source
Perform price analyses, conduct due diligence, and identify risks & opportunities
Negotiate price, schedule, terms/conditions
Manage supplier performance (cost, schedule and quality) against key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Support PO related invoice approvals, inquiries, and issues
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
At least 2 years of procurement experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management; Master’s preferred
Demonstrated experience in supply chain and procurement/contracts, including sourcing, order placement, price analysis, negotiations, PO documentation, supplier management, and policy compliance
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, FAA AMS, and international import/export regulations
Experience developing and managing Statements of Work (SOW) and leading or supporting cross-functional teams
Proven interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to ensure compliance with policies and procedures while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision; adaptable to changing priorities
