Coordinate the month end process so that the general ledger is closed adequately in line with DLL and IFRS standards.
Bring the daily general ledger and accounting activities to a higher level by reviewing monthly balance sheet files and proposing improvements.
Coordinate the annual year-end financial audit and the early warning audit with external auditors. Provide information on financial administrative issues to auditors and follow up on action points raised by auditors.
Implement and monitor the risk control framework. Optimize and implement financial process improvements.
Manage the tax processes including corporation tax and VAT return process.
Requirements
Strong Excel skills

Excellent organising skills with ability to work to tight deadlines.
An ability to work as part of a team and to deal communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner.
Qualified Accountant with relevant professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA).
Practical knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102.
Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Ireland (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.)
Working closely with other departments to identify opportunities to assist existing clients
Experience in using Oracle FMS an advantage
