Draft ESA effects evaluation and determination documents for HGMPs
Prepare NEPA Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements
Evaluate hatchery program impacts on ESA-listed species
Respond to internal, co-manager, and public comments
Collaborate with NMFS staff, tribes, and state agencies
Present technical findings and participate in meetings
Deliverables: ESA documents, NEPA documents and response-to-comments packages, Technical analyses of hatchery impacts, Monthly progress reports and technical presentations
Requirements
Master’s degree (MA/MS) AND at least five 5+ years of experience , OR Bachelor’s degree AND at least ten 10+ years of experience
Minimum three (3) years of hatchery program experience
Experience drafting ESA and NEPA documents
Experience evaluating impacts to natural-origin fish populations
Experience working with federal, tribal, and state co-managers
Strong technical writing and communication skills
