Role Overview
Lead a team in developing and implementing secure systems
Ensure the security of information systems, networks, and data
Track all assigned systems for A&A (Assessment and Authorization) status
Oversee accreditation/re-accreditation actions
Responsible for improving upon existing processes or establishing new processes and systems
Forecast Systems Engineering Manpower needs
Establish training requirements for continued professional development of the team
Create workforce and staffing plans
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
Minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of relevant prior experience
Demonstrated systems engineering understanding to include requirements management, implementation, integration, and test
Demonstrated technical understanding of server-class computer systems and networking
Demonstrated experience leading security engineering teams with responsibilities for security control implementation, documentation, and continuous monitoring
Demonstrated ability to work with US Government approving authorities to obtain Authorities to Operate (ATOs)
Demonstrated experience establishing guidance, accountability, and best practices
Demonstrated experience building effective relationships with stakeholders
