Own budget management and forecasting for multiple groups simultaneously, each with distinct goals, stakeholders, and reporting needs.
Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to build, track, and adjust budgets in accordance with planning cycles.
Provide financial leadership – translating data into clear recommendations that shape strategic and operational decisions.
Influence stakeholders at varying levels of seniority, even without direct authority, to drive sound financial decision-making.
Identify risks, variances, and opportunities across budgets, and proactively flag them to leadership.
Build financial models and reporting tools that scale across multiple business groups.
Drive month-end/quarter-end close activities including variance analysis and forecasting updates.
Manage, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Lead a team of 1-2 Analysts.
Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
A CPA, MBA or CMA is preferred.
A minimum 5 years of progressive finance and commercial finance experience is required
2+ years of people management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
Familiarity with AFO, Tableau, Power BI, and SAP (ledger) a plus
Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
Having a collaborative style and being able to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups is required.
The ability to work independently and effectively interface with various levels of management is also required.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail are required.
