Utilize CAD software to develop accurate and efficient tool designs.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements.
Manufacture precision tools using a variety of machining and toolmaking techniques.
Operate and maintain conventional and CNC machines.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of existing tools.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and production personnel.
Conduct inspections and quality checks on finished tools to ensure they meet design specifications.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tooling technology.

Formal technical education or certifications in toolmaking or a related field.
10 or more years experience in toolmaking, with a focus on precision tool design and manufacturing.
Experience using CAD software and CNC machining.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of various machining techniques and materials.
High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
