About this role

Oversee a dynamic team of Research Assistants and R&D technicians
Ensure the successful execution of research projects and the smooth operation of the lab
Manage daily lab activities and coordinate research efforts
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in lab operations and research methodologies

Bachelor's degree (BS) in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or STEM-related subject
6-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years in a supervisory role preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment
Experience with bio-manufacturing processes is highly desirable
In-depth understanding of laboratory safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality control standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Proficient with programs including MS Office Suite.
