Role Overview
- Providing home help services such as general housekeeping and making beds
- Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Providing personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed
- Assisting clients to take their medications
- Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
- Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
- Providing social and emotional support
- Providing transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
Requirements
- Cert III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications.
