Partner with senior D&A leadership to translate strategic priorities into a clear, actionable investment roadmap
Lead the end-to-end investment planning process, including business case development, prioritisation, and capital allocation across a multi-hundred-million-pound portfolio
Ensure alignment between investment decisions and D&A’s growth, innovation, and risk management objectives
Design and run robust portfolio prioritisation frameworks to optimise return on investment and strategic impact
Establish and maintain best-in-class investment governance, ensuring transparency, consistency, and executive-level clarity
Track and evaluate portfolio performance, ensuring delivery against financial targets, strategic outcomes, and milestones
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Strategy
Act as a trusted advisor to D&A leadership, bringing structured thinking, analytical rigour, and independent challenge
Communicate complex analyses and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
Lead complex, ambiguous problem-solving efforts—structuring issues, synthesising data, and driving actionable recommendations

Background in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, ideally at engagement manager / principal level, or similar industry strategy / transformation role
Proven experience in strategy, investment planning, or large-scale transformation programmes
Exposure to financial services, data businesses, and technology-led organisations is advantageous.
