Serve as a Human Resource professional to provide managers, HR Specialists and employees with information and interpretations of the OPM position classification standards
Provide classification services that include writing position descriptions and evaluation statements, conducting desk audits and paper reviews, developing standard operating procedures, and providing guidance on position management
Review organizational documents to ensure the organizational structure supports the requested title, occupational series, and grade of the position
Classify positions for the full range of the GS and equivalent pay plans including supervisory, non-supervisory, interdisciplinary, and mixed series positions
Analyze organization for productivity and efficiency gain and provide recommendations to management officials on the most effective position/skill mix, work processes, and organizational structures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 7 years' experience in a federal agency environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security check
