Role Overview
- Supervise the end-to-end accounts payable process
- Review and approve supplier invoices for accurate coding and authorization
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
- Monitor aging reports and resolve outstanding items
- Manage supplier statement reconciliations and account queries
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions in the accounting system
- Supervise GBS Accounts Payable staff
- Allocate workloads and monitor team performance
- Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Resolve supplier disputes and payment-related issues
- Ensure compliance with agreed payment terms
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Experience in a multinational, logistics, shipping, or FMCG environment is advantageous
