Execute at the U.S. and Canadian market level the strategic product development initiatives
Identify and originate bundled product opportunities at the intersection of DTNA vehicles, DTFS financing, insurance, extended warranty, service contracts, telematics, and other aftermarket programs for the US and Canadian markets
Combine commercial instinct, customer/dealer empathy, competitive observation, and DTNA programs/product knowledge and market understanding to generate proposition ideas and maintain a living concept pipeline
Define, scope, and execute market pilots in US and Canada to validate the most promising propositions; establish clear success criteria and KPIs upfront; capture pilot learnings; author detailed rollout plans; and deliver a complete deliverables package (rollout plan, business case, pricing structures, operational requirements, KPIs, dealer enablement, and customer-facing collateral inputs) to the Revenue, Marketing, Operations and Credit teams for implementation
Build and champion the strategic product roadmap for DTFS bundled offerings in the US and Canadian markets; prioritize initiatives based on revenue potential, strategic fit, and implementation feasibility; present pipeline updates and recommendations to senior leadership on a regular cadence
Serve as primary New Product Development interface with DTNA leadership for US and Canadian commercial vehicle programs; operate as liaison between DTNA CSG, New Truck Pricing, Parts & Warranties teams and NPD teams; use that proximity to detect emerging program signals and bundle opportunities early
Translate each concept into a defensible business case (NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis, multi-entity margin projections) and clear KPIs
Direct the Analyst to perform detailed financial modeling; review, integrate, and challenge the outputs; partner with Finance, Treasury (discount/hurdle rate, cost of funds), Tax, Risk/Credit (loss assumptions), Remarketing (residuals), and Pricing (rate strategies) to source and validate inputs; challenge assumptions where they constrain bundle viability
Perform continuous competitive benchmark analysis of captive finance, commercial banking, insurance, and aftermarket competitors in the US and Canadian markets; catalog competitive DTFS products, white-space opportunities, and emerging propositions from competitors; translate benchmark insights into specific concepts for the pipeline
Manage, coach, and develop one direct report (Product Analyst); set goals, conduct performance reviews; foster a culture that pairs analytical rigor with commercial creativity and entrepreneurial ownership
Partner with IT, Operations, Engineering, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Legal to translate pilot designs into technical business specs and operational readiness plans; engage DTNA and Mexican Product Lead counterparts on US/Canadian regulatory implications
Use the DCI/CSI surveys to research and develop an instinct for unmet needs that fuels new bundle or product ideas; partner with Canadian Product Lead on tri-country synergies and provide backup coverage as required
