About this role
Role Overview
Managing trade mark portfolios and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records in internal databases
Maintaining full oversight of portfolios and proactively flagging risks, deadlines and next steps
Preparing and filing trade mark applications, renewals and recordals
Preparing and handling correspondence, emails and instructions to and from clients and foreign agents and IP offices
Preparing draft agreements and documents for consultants (e.g. procedural letters, instructions, standard undertakings)
Supporting invoicing, reporting and portfolio reviews
Drafting and responding to office actions, depending on experience and confidence level
Providing procedural and “light” legal input to consultants and supporting them on day‑to‑day matters
Requirements
You already have a solid experience in trade mark administration and paralegal work
You enjoy working collaboratively within a team and contributing to a supportive working environment
Proven ability to prepare correspondence and documents for consultants autonomously and with a minimum of supervision
Confidence in handling international portfolios and liaising with agents and clients
Excellent command of the English & Dutch, both spoken and written
Knowledge of French of advantage
Highly organized, detail-oriented and structured, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
Self-directed, proactive and comfortable working with delegated responsibility
