Prepare and publish a wide range of macroeconomic and market-focused reports (Quick Takes and insights)
Collect, organize, and analyze real estate information on markets and submarkets throughout Europe
Build and maintain complex financial models and databases
Become an expert of Green Street’s research methodologies and valuation framework to be able to communicate effectively with clients
Closely follow and understand real estate market activity and the impact of news events on specific sectors, markets, and assets
Analyze diverse data to form a cohesive macroeconomic and real estate outlook
Becoming a proactive written communicator with Sales team (ability to interpret private market activity, and news), along with some oral communication
Participating in calls and meetings with institutional investors, and private-market contacts to begin building relationships
Demonstrating resourcefulness by seeking out new and creative sources of information
Ad-hoc and administrative tasked as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field or significant experience in financial services and/or commercial real estate. Master’s degree is preferred.
2-4 years’ experience in real estate, capital markets, or conducting financial/economic research; investment banking experience a plus
Strong analytical skills and a background in finance are required.
Strong financial data analysis skills, exceptional communication abilities (both written and verbal), high-level of organization, creativity and resourcefulness.
Expert Excel skills
Familiarity with R, SAS, or other statistical packages/programs or coding skills in SQL, Python or other database/programming applications a plus.
