Support an Agile team delivering capabilities for an enterprise financial software system and web application.
Translate business and system needs into clear requirements, user stories, and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, designers, architects, developers, and delivery teams.
Analyze business systems, user needs, and operational processes to develop clear requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, and supporting documentation.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify scope, confirm priorities, and translate requirements into actionable work for development teams.
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and prioritization in partnership with the Product Owner and Scrum Master.
Create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, data flows, test scenarios, requirements traceability, wireframes, mockups, and status materials.
Present requirements, product features, metrics, and project updates to technical and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate with program, project, architecture, technical, and delivery teams to support Agile execution across a large program.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Three (3) or more years of Business Analyst experience supporting Agile software development or technology implementation projects.
Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management practices.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Strong communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities while balancing strategic objectives with detailed requirements.
Experience using Jira and Confluence to support Agile delivery, backlog management, and documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or a comparable diagramming tool.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be eligible for consideration.
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
