Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Maintain network standards, policies, and best practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and security across the organization.
Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative network technologies and solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize and ensure maximum uptime.
Use network tools for administration, maintenance, automation, and visualization reporting.
Provide support services to customers for specific IT related issues.
Adhere to service management processes and procedures to meet customer service level agreements and maintain customer satisfaction.
Configure Network equipment and execute changes while following standard operating procedures and change/release management policies.
Monitor specific IT service or set of services for availability and performance.
Support root cause analysis of network outages or incident trends.
Provide onsite support for network project implementations, LAN/WAN link connectivity, turn-ups, testing, etc.
Requirements
Technical Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE4-6, PCNSE, etc. are highly preferred.
5+ years of experience working with the implementation of data and converged network infrastructure, including most of the following: 802.1x, vPC, VXLAN, STP/OSPF/BGP, LAN/WAN/Wireless protocols, Network Management tools, F5 Load Balancers, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Palo Alto Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, and other network related technologies.
