Role Overview
Own the CI/CD Pipeline: Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines for our software development lifecycle, ensuring smooth and efficient integration and delivery.
Champion Containerization and Automation: Leverage your expertise in Docker and Kubernetes to build and manage containerized applications and automate deployment processes.
Master Build Systems and Scripting: Utilize your strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and knowledge of build systems (Make, Bazel) to optimize build processes and implement advanced caching techniques.
Thrive in a Linux Environment: Demonstrate your deep understanding of Linux systems, including system administration, networking, and security, to ensure the stability and performance of our CI/CD infrastructure.
Collaborate and Problem-Solve: Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues, implement best practices, and continuously improve our CI/CD processes and tools.
Requirements
Champion CI/CD Automation: Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and solutions to streamline and optimize the entire CI/CD pipeline for FN BBN products.
Manage & Harden Environments: Take ownership of build and test environments, ensuring their stability, security, and scalability across physical infrastructure, OpenStack, and Kubernetes.
Accelerate Software Delivery: Continuously improve CI availability and cycle times to accelerate the software validation and delivery process for increased efficiency and faster time-to-market.
Elevate Code Quality & Testing: Strengthen static code analysis practices and enhance test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality code and robust software releases.
Collaborate & Drive Improvements: Partner with product development, cloud infrastructure, and operations teams to identify and implement CI/CD pipeline optimizations and process improvements.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (EN).
