Senior Accounting Analyst

Role Overview

• Lead the company’s monthly accounting close, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and compliance of financial information;
• Execute and review accounting transactions, ensuring adherence to accounting, corporate and regulatory standards;
• Account for and analyze insurance and reinsurance operations, technical provisions and other specific aspects of the insurance market;
• Perform accounting analyses and reconciliations, identifying material impacts on the company’s result and equity;
• Prepare and review financial statements, notes and regulatory reports;
• Act as the main accounting contact for external audit and support requests from regulatory bodies;
• Develop controls, metrics and automations to increase operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls;
• Participate in implementing process improvements, new products and regulatory changes;
• Support the technical development of junior and mid-level analysts, contributing to the team’s growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
• Mandatory experience in insurance companies
• Knowledge of CPC, IFRS and SUSEP regulations
• Advanced Excel
• Organized, analytical profile with strong prioritization skills
• Ability to perform in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
• Collaborative, hands-on, proactive attitude with a sense of ownership.
