The Senior Engineer, Asset Management will have the primary responsibility for ensuring that the Eversource Business Strategy for the transmission program are optimally developed to provide the highest levels of system reliability at lowest possible costs
Specific responsibilities include developing coordinated transmission programs and budgets
Identifying process improvements with respect to development, approval, and management of transmission projects
Providing input to the development and prioritization of the transmission capital programs
Developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with other functions
Benchmarking Eversource’s transmission asset performance relative to the industry.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required
An Electrical Engineering degree is preferred
A minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required
Experience in the technical, operational, or engineering aspects of the electric utility industry is strongly preferred
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
