About this role
Role Overview
- Support the company’s accounting routines, ensuring organization, verification and consistency of information;
- Assist with journal entries, reconciliations and accounting classifications;
- Monitor expenses, revenues, provisions and other accounting transactions;
- Support the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes;
- Help review fiscal documents, invoices, taxes and related compliance obligations;
- Support coordination with external accounting providers, organizing documents, information and requests;
- Organize documents, contracts, receipts, reports and internal controls;
- Assist with administrative tasks related to suppliers, registrations, filing and internal processes;
- Collaborate with finance, administrative and management teams to support alignment of information and processes;
- Support the preparation of documents for closings, internal analyses and management requests.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Accounting, Accounting Sciences or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting (concepts covered in coursework)
- Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Organized, responsible and committed to meeting deadlines
- Comfortable working collaboratively with different departments
