Architecture & modernization: design, development and scaling of our core systems (C#/.NET, MS SQL) toward resilient, containerized services on Linux/Kubernetes.
Targeted reduction of internal technical complexity and strengthening of stability, resilience and maintainability to sustainably increase productivity.
Make sound architecture and platform decisions and evolve technical standards (modularization, interfaces, security, Infrastructure as Code).
Provide technical support to Product Managers during discovery and prioritization processes and clearly explain complex technical concepts.
Expand and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and establish Clean Code practices, code reviews and automated tests (unit & system tests).
Increase development velocity (time-to-market) through measurably shorter development cycles, more frequent and reliable deployments — with the goal of being able to release to production at any time.
Establish AI/LLM-assisted development in day-to-day engineering (e.g., Copilot-assisted coding, test generation, knowledge building).
Responsible for structured knowledge transfer and knowledge building within the team.
Requirements
Innovative mindset & technological foresight
Solid understanding of the possibilities and limitations of AI in a corporate context.
Several years of experience in C#/.NET or comparable programming languages, and in technical leadership of developers.
Confident handling of scalable database systems (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and modern backend architectures (modular services).
Ideally experience with Angular (v15+) and RabbitMQ.
Practical experience with Docker/Kubernetes, fully automated deployments and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and automated tests (unit & system tests).
Product-oriented working style and ability to translate discovery outcomes into clear, structured technical solutions.
Open, clear and inspiring leadership — especially during periods of change.
English at least C1 (team), German at least B2 (stakeholder).
