Develop solutions that leverage and expand upon inventory analytics capabilities to the business that drive accuracy and integrity of inventory systems
Drive the strategic and tactical design and deployment of BI inventory analysis and reporting packages
Ensure analytical reporting capabilities enhance KPI attainment, business results, decision-making process and capabilities
Provide leadership and training to a team of Inventory Analysts to accomplish company goals and objectives
Create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement that drives cross-functional engagement within the operational, planning, business intelligence and data analytics areas
Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align priorities, build and execute development plans and communicate recommendations
Define and enforce standards to sustain effectiveness; experiment with and promote adoption of new tools and approaches when appropriate
Mentor and train analytical resources in best practices; simplify and communicate success stories to broader audiences across the company

4 years of inventory control experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with computerized scanner equipment
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
Certified Business Intelligence Professional from Transforming Data with Intelligence (TDWI) and R/Python certifications (preferred)
3 + years’ experience delivering BI and data analytics solutions that involve statistical modeling (preferred)
Understanding of data warehouse concepts such as: patterns for time variance and generic versus explicit data structures; standards-based approaches for object names and data types; using logical data models to document and explain business objectives (preferred)
Experience taking care of both structured and unstructured data to recognize patterns and generate insights (preferred)
Understanding of best practices and principles in SQL, query design, data validation/automation and analytic functions (preferred)
