About this role
Role Overview
- Guide a team of 5–6 developers within the Odin Development / Digital Foundation department.
- Actively writing and contributing to Python code alongside your team.
- Drive smooth delivery, support your team's growth, and act as a key connector between the Python team and its closest collaborators.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with each team member to support their growth and provide constructive feedback.
- Facilitate two weekly standups and lead sprint planning sessions.
- Manage and groom the Jira backlog and track sprint progress.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience with a solid understanding of how the language works, including its key patterns, ecosystem, and common use cases.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a team of software engineers.
- Solid understanding of agile / scrum ceremonies and hands-on experience with Jira.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, comfortable running standups, planning sessions, and 1-on-1s.
- Track record of setting and delivering on OKRs or similar goal frameworks.
- Ability to context-switch between people management and technical work.
