Role Overview
- Supervise, manage labor, and plan inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication activities
- Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities
- Ensure the development of systems and procedures for managing operations
- Manage operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
- Provide direction and support to Human Resources
- Train new staff and assess their training progress and additional duties
- Holds regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess overall status
- Maintain high degree of motivation in team members to provide highest levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- RF Scanners WMS functions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and personnel skills
- Good communication skills, written and oral
