Role Overview
- Hands-on testing of batteries, chargers, and electronic devices
- Operate electrical instrumentation to measure battery performance
- Generate accurate technical reports for the engineering groups
- Ensure that testing is started and completed on time
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist engineering groups in performing teardown evaluations of the product
- Ability to operate battery-powered equipment for material handling
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a related field or 3 years of experience
- Good problem solving and visualization skills needed
- High proficiency required in relevant software packages
- Extensive use and high proficiency in MS Excel
- Previous experience with lead-acid battery, battery chargers, DC electricity, or electrical measurement/data acquisition devices is required
